Poetry

Various Poems Dune Inspired Kitsune Religious

These are my fox poems. The last poem is only here since it was written at the same time and mentions a fox.

Kitsune
The fox with a coat the color of limestone
And eyes as blue as water
A predator that would shirk the sick
He killed with alacrity
He wore death like fangs
A fox with only one claw
And a tar-black cloak
With a smear of sanguine ink

Kitsune
The fox with a coat the color of limestone
And eyes as blue as water
A predator that would shirk the sick
He killed with alacrity
He wore death like fangs
A fox with only one claw
And a tar-black cloak
With a smear of sanguine ink

Kitsune
Shirking the crumbling limestone curb
At the water’s edge
With a sanguine smile
He licks his lips
And sharp fangs.
The fox with the sanguine coat
And the tar-black beak

Untitled
Limestone crumbles in the water
That blasts the cliffs
As the birds try to wrangle the clouds
With their sweeping wings

Their feathers codified by the wind
Like a clump of tar
On a fox’s coat
